Brown County Master Gardener Program

Are you are interested in gaining in-depth knowledge about gardening and helping our community at the same time? Come join the Brown County Master Gardeners! Every year, K-State hosts a state-wide horticulture based training taught by experts in their respective fields. Topics vary from vegetable and fruit gardening, lawn and turf management, pesticide use, water conservation, insect and disease identification, soil sampling, and more! In exchange for 40-50 hours of university instruction, each member must pay a program fee, complete the Master Gardener training, and volunteer 40 hours in their community as a Master Gardener. Call our office for more information or visit our facebook page to see what we are up to in Brown County!
